Lord, I am sorry
For in all things, I worry
I have dwelt on the old story
And blindfolded in my furry
I had rely more on money
Mistaking it for your glory
Then trouble rose as a storey
Much more than I can carry
Please, Oh Lord, I am sorry
Still, in my sins I merry
And come short of Your glory
Come into my heart which is stony
Cleanse and make it lowly
Jesus the King of Glory!
Indeed I am so sorry!
Please, Oh Lord, I am sorry

Celebrating the BIRTH of JESUS………….

Jesus the ‘everything’, the A and the Zee
He came around so that we can see
Even each day as we make our tea
That the sweat heaven is much for real
Only for the people with forgiven sins

So heavy as the cross, even without a reel
Made for Jesus to be killed for real
On the pathway to a promise fulfilled
Putting His spirit in our hearts with zeal
Carefully watching each day as we eat our meal

And much more in our thoughts and deeds
Being so careful with the way we feel
As we struggle hard, just to take the lead
Not to make a fool of the righteousness seed
And give a room for sins and greed

For the life will fly away without a hint
And the body useless, deaf to the pinch
Thrown at it by the multitude’s speech
Even if their voices could reach their peak,
The gone away soul shall move no inch

And afterwards on eternity Street
Just at the point where two streets meet
The one to hell and the other through the Cross’ feet
While the sinners cry in hell with the demons’ beat
With Christ are the Saints, and their joyous weep.

My tummy vibrates, radiating pains
All across the body through the veins
Just in the reminiscence of the rainbow paint
And all I could think of is to have a tail
Which could waggle my body and remove the pain

Or what benefits do I have in all my gains
With the bulk of people, of whom I trained
If my precious body suddenly becomes untrained
Lying down helpless; the world of vain
While the funeral others prepare, not minding the rain

So I discovered it is not by much gain
Nor the smartness of one’s brain
Or the jurisdiction of one’s reign
Could set man free from the hell’s chain
Binding him with sins again and again

Soon I discovered a King, great in His reign
Who had left His own throne with just an aim
To free everyone from the devil’s chain
And carry us all in His salvation train
Till the Kingdom we see, where the saviour reigns

PSALM ONE: Planted by the Rivers

With leaves wide and fresh, I am drought free
Bearing beautiful fruits for all to see
By the river side planted, a glorious tree
Just as it is in Psalm one verse three

With the Lord’s blessings I became full
Avoiding the counsels of sinners and scornful
But the law of the Lord is my best tool
Just as it is in Psalm one verse one and two

But the ungodly man flies as chaff
Not having direction nor compass in graph
For their seat was lost with the children of life
Just as it is in Psalm one verse four and five

Unending glory paints the righteous seat
For his end shall be where Jesus sits
While the ungodly mourn in great defeat
Just as it is in Psalm one verse six

At my leisure, I patiently watch
The beauty of the day, brightly wore
Day to day businesses, actively done
Open place vices, quietly gone
Serene and peaceful atmosphere, temporarily formed

Why do we fear the night, I began to ask
While during the day, same place we brightly sat
Doing our daily activities, with great remarks
Being so carefree, sweet songs sang
For brightly seen, are every cross and marks

As the night begins, panic sets in
Noise of markets and parks, all gone downhill
Bright flame of fear, in most heart lit
Proper time for the body to rest, most people think
For many evil conduct, to the night was linked

More apparent it becomes, that every works will end
While from our life businesses, we must take a rest
Though we struggle well in life, just to be the best
But into our home after life, we do not invest
And when we’re down in death, we don’t know the next

While you’re here on earth, you must set your focus
Whether to perish in hell, or to gain eternal home with Jesus
Though lot of earthly pressures and pleasure, all to seize us
From answering the repentance call, of the master Jesus
Who owns the everlasting home, where you’ll forever be joyous

Please don’t be offended, when I ask you this
This is what to the sinners, you grossly say
When the message of Christ, you want to share
Counting one by one, uncountable you have
These same words said; ‘Are you saved?’
But to answer this, you also have to
Not for your fervency, but the reason why

Your working for God, needs no doubt
To every program, punctually attend
Talk of immorality, past tense become
Stealing and lies, all gone bye
Provoking you to anger, needs a million year
The Christian dressing, an habit is
But why you do these, needed to be clear

The bitter truth, let us share
You shun immorality, everybody knows
Is it not for HIV, and venereal diseases to avoid
Or pre-marital pregnancy, and it’s accomplice shame
Or fear of the outcome, destroying integrity
With all these fears, religious you look
But the death on the cross, is not the cause

With Christian dressings, the world you envy
You’re meek and gentle, only fight to avoid
Punctuality in the church, pastor’s queries you detest
Activeness in God’s work, popularity to gain
Such and such you do, with separate agenda
What you do in secret, the Lord God knows
Not heaven in focus, you must be saved

What if you die now, in this hypocrisy
Or what do you think, eternity holds
Imagine a possible defence, before the throne
If you’re a missing name, in the book of life
And the angels mourn, your lost soul in hell
And the only question ‘why’, you were able to ask
You worked for fear and ‘not heaven in focus’, the angels say
